• Build your network without having to suffer through airport security. Of course, one giant annual conference would be more profitable, but that’s not the point of our education program. We hold multiple events through the network. In fact, the vast majority of the group are within an hour drive of one or more of our events.

You are free to choose the parts of the program that benefit you.

It’s our job to put together a great set of supplier options that you’re going to want to use. But if, on occasion, you find the right answer for you and your client is outside our supplier network, no one if going to hassle you for making the best supplier decision for a given trip.

Or you can give other members a call and they’ll help you out. Westa has a uniquely familial community of “cooperative competitors” who are always happy to help their fellow member out.

Become someone that suppliers know. You’ll also actually get to know your supplier reps. There are 20 local educational events held annually, though the region, specifically for our front line agents and suppliers to network. Along with other events, like the annual meeting, this will give you and your staff the opportunity to form real relationships.

These supplier relationships will help you to build the perfect trip for clients and give you a connection to reach out to whenever you run into trouble.

When it comes to commissions, Westa has a uniquely competitive structure.

Commissions vary per supplier and tend to be fixed for any consortia you sign on with. Everyone gets the same deal, typically 12 - 16%.

However, in Westa you are an owner in the consortium.

Because of this, when it comes to your bottom line, Westa offers revenue streams the competition just can't match.

Very few consortia offer profit sharing. And of those that do, many of them have a tiered sharing structure where smaller agency’s shares get siphoned away to larger agencies. Other consortia offer partial pass-through of supplier bonuses, but again, few do.

At Westa you get a great commission, 100% of your bonuses, and your full share of profit.
